I get a sense that there is an intentional increase of electronic/industrial aspects to the songs on this E.P. Less pronounced than Satriani's "Engines of Creation" but noticable nonetheless. So I wonder if this EP, following their awesome full-length earlier this year, is a bit of a studio exploration of some new sounds/technology. Some nice instrumental songs here nonetheless. This is probably my favorite progressive metal album ever. I could have sworn I already bought it but I must have gotten it when it was free instead. Sylnox
This album took some time for me to learn the music but now I have a clear path in my head and the last song is just an amazing conclusion winterispretty
